- 07/12/2024: FORMOSAT-9A SWIP MDR/SDR meeting.
- 06/03/2024: 到高雄港參加經濟部產發署低軌衛星終端追星技術海域外場驗證環境。
- 05/20/2024: A kick-off meeting for FORMOSAT-9A science payload, Space Weather Ionosphere Probe (SWIP), at TASA.
- 05/17/2024: A science payload proposal, Space Weather Ionosphere Probe (SWIP), with a joint team of NCU (with CIP) and NCKU (with TeNeP) was awarded by TASA for FORMOSAT-9A satellite. It was scheduled to launch in 2028.
- 05/10-11/2024: An ionospheric plasma hole was discovered by FORMOSAT-5/AIP within equatorial region of Atlantic Ocean during a G5 geomagnetic storm.
- 05/06/2024: A maritime 1-m dish VSAT, KNS Ka-band Z10MK4-KA, had been installed on the rooftop of NCU remote sensing building (research center building 2) for satellite broadband communication experiment using PEARL-1C CubeSat.
- 04/25/2024: 經濟部產業發展署主辦與財團法人資訊工業策進會執行的低軌衛星通訊終端設備入網實測活動於本實驗室位於遙測中心的設施舉辦。本實驗室提供 PEARL-1C 衛星介紹、測試環境參觀、PEARL-1C 衛星訊號通聯測試。
- 04/23/2024: Submitting a science payload proposal, Space Weather Ionosphere Probe (SWIP), with a joint team of NCU (with CIP) and NCKU (with TeNeP) to TASA for FORMOSAT-9A science P/L announcement. A briefing on the P/L was presented for evaluation on 2024/04/29. NCU was ranked as the 1st place for the bidding and was notified on 2024/5/9.
- 04/22/2024: A selfie was taken by PEARL-1H CubeSat from a cell phone camera installed on a 3U smart solar panel at 15:01:30, 04/22/2024 (during twilight). The satellite was sun-shined but the ground remained dark.
- 04/19/2024: Visiting EnduroSat HQ and Space Laboratory at Sofia University.
- 04/16/2024: CIP onboard PEARL-1C CubeSat was finally powered on and started measuring ionospheric plasma via RPT mode under NORMAL rate (128 Hz) for 10 minutes. The CIP science data had been downloaded to our UHF TT&C G/S for further analysis.
- 04/08/2024: Playing as a moderator with APSCC and JSAT representatives for Exclusive Roundtable - Keeping Pace with the Satellite Communications Industry held by Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs.
- 04/01/2024: The Ta-Hwa UHF TT&C G/S (TH-UHF) constructed by SPL's students had the first contact with PEARL-1H CubeSat during a night pass.
- 03/29/2024: The 2nd SPL UHF TT&C G/S (TH-UHF) had completed installation at Ta-Hwa high school. 太空酬載實驗室自行建立的第二座 UHF 遙傳追蹤指令地面站，已在大華中學校舍屋頂完成安裝，等待 NCC 審驗後啟用。
